About Andreas

Andreas Brueckl is founder of the Colormeup! academy and one of Europes “young wild colorists”. He’s one of the most experienced DI-colorgrading artists in Europe and specialised in DI-Workflows.
Since 2008 he also works as instructor for colorgrading, RED-and Alexa-workflows and as Set-Color-Supervisor.
Meanwhile Andreas is booked worldwide as colorist because of his outstanding gradings.

Andreas:” I was in the lucky situation to learn from highly experienced Telecine artists who
did this job for more than 40 years. Everythime I tried to use the secondary correction on a DaVinci, I got rap on my knuckles so I had to do a perfect primary correction first. Later, as I became more experienced in compositing, the keying functions and curves opened a whole new world in highend colorgrading.”

Also Andreas is the first who made explicit tutorials about the looks he created.
With his tutorials he published the look “surrealistic skin tones” and “the sunwashed”-look.
